Fish stock is one of the most nutritious stocks you can make! It's high in nutrients and takes very little time unlike chicken & beef stocks which can take anywhere from 4-72 hours.
This tasty liquid is highly nutritious, especially if using the heads of fish which help to support our thyroid function...something most of us could benefit from in our busy lives! Some symptoms of a weak thyroid include fatigue, constipation, muscle aches, weakness, pain, swelling and cancer.
Fish stock is excellent in chowders, bouillabaisse, poaching seafood and used as a base for sauces or gravies for seafood dishes. It's also a delicious & healthy practice to simply sip on throughout the day. Add a little salt & pepper, minced garlic and broth into your coffee mug and off you go!
