Lemon tahini dressing to the rescue! This nutritious and oh so delicious dressing is your answer to any dish that seems blasé to your palette. My absolute fave with this sauce is over steamed broccoli which I have been known to eat bowls at a time. My 4 year old loves the stuff and it's a great way to get kiddos to eat their veggies if they're not big fans...sauces and dressings are magical like that.
It's not a surprise anymore that We. Need. Fat. Healthy fats that is, and this one is loaded; tahini (sesame seed butter), olive oil and nut milk. Bring on the healthy fats to help balance hormones, satiate appetite in between meals, regulate blood pressure, produce hormones, support heart health, increase nutrient absorption and burn fat. YES PLEASE! Most of us could likely use more healthy fats in our diets and this is a great way to get a dose or two. I like to pour it over hard boiled or scrambled eggs, steamed or roasted veggies, salad dressing, add a bit of water to lighten the consistency if you like. Use it as a veggie or chip dip, gravy on meatballs (or anything that requires gravy), or really just about anything that could use a nutty, lemony, delicious kick!
